Biographical Information[edit]
Sung-heon Lim played in the Korea Baseball Organization for 3 years.
Lim represented South Korea in the 2006 Intercontinental Cup, going 1-0 with a 2.20 ERA and a team-high 13 K. His 16 1/3 IP were second on the team, behind Min-ho Jin. He struck out 9 in a 5-1 complete game win over the Philippines' Darwin de la Calzada in the 7th/8th place game. The SK Wyverns signed him in 2008, and he only pitched one game with the big club in his first season. Lim had a 1.42 ERA in 16 games in 2009, but he struggled in 2010 as he allowed 10 runs in 8 2/3 innings. He was placed in the minors for the entire 2011 season, then the Wyverns released him. He later coached Kyungsung University from 2014 to 2018.
Overall, Lim was 1-1 with a 4.18 ERA, struck out 17 and pitched 28 innings in 3 seasons in the KBO.
