Stoddard
- Bats Unknown, Throws Unknown
- Debut September 25, 1875
- Final Game October 9, 1875
Biographical Information[edit]
Someone named Stoddard played 2 games as an outfielder for the Brooklyn Atlantics of the National Association in 1875. He went 1 for 9 with his lone hit a double.
Nothing is known about this player, although it is possible that the name given him is a misspelling of "Stoddart". One Charles Stoddart is named as the umpire for a game of the Brooklyn Eckfords in 1883 and might be the ballplayer, as there are no other likely candidates. Stoddart was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1852 which would make him the right age.
