Biographical Information[edit]
Steve Partenheimer was at Amherst College from 1910 to 1913 and by late June 1913 he was in the majors. He played third base in one game for the Detroit Tigers in 1913. The regular third baseman for the team that year was George Moriarty.
Partenheimer's son Stan Partenheimer was a pitcher. Another son, Hal Partenheimer, played in the minor leagues.
