Biographical Information

Steve Jones has been a college coach.

Jones began as assistant at California State University, Chico, spending four years there. He was then assistant coach at the University of California-Davis. Steve became head coach of New Mexico Highlands University in 1998. He was 421-307 after 13 seasons and set a school record of 41 wins in both 2001 and 2010.

Jones resigned in October 2014 season to start the baseball program at Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
