Steve Gust has been a college coach.
Gust coached at Sacred Heart High School (132 wins) and the University of North Dakota (as an assistant for one year) before serving as head coach of Northland Community and Technical College from 2005-2008, going 92-75 there. The 2008 club set a school record of 27 wins. He was head coach at Dakota Wesleyan University from 2008 to 2014, going 154-157, and became head coach at University of Minnesota Crookston in 2015.
