Steve Caruso is a former player agent who allegedly represented 1992 2nd round pick A.J. Hinch in failed negotiations with the Chicago White Sox that ultimately put Hinch's NCAA eligibility in jeopardy after White Sox Vice President of Scouting and Minor League Operations Larry Monroe told the NCAA that Caruso negotiated directly with the team.
