Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Stan Schino played in the minor leagues from 1927 to 1940, hitting .282 with 340 doubles, 80 triples and 169 home runs in 1,632 games. He performed exceptionally well in 1931 and 1932 - in the former year, he hit .330 with 47 doubles, 12 triples and 24 home runs for the Wichita Aviators and Omaha Packers. He tied for third in the Western League in both homers and RBI (123). In 1932, he hit .354 with 32 doubles, 13 triples and 18 home runs for the Tulsa Oilers (he later managed the Oilers, in 1939).
