Biographical Information[edit]
Stan "Betz" Klopp played one season in the big leagues, in 1944 when he was 33 years old. Prior to that, he had been a successful pitcher in the Lebanon Valley Baseball League and had played basketball with the Womelsdorf "Big Five". He also played semi-pro baseball in Iowa. After his major league days, he went back to the Lebanon Valley League and was a player-coach for Robesonia in 1956. He also worked for Dana Corporation.
