Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Stan Johnson had cups of coffee in the majors with the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Athletics. He hit one big league home run, on September 23, 1960. While playing for the White Sox, he clubbed a shot off pitcher Frank Funk of the Cleveland Indians. It was also his only major league hit.
Following his big league days, Johnson played several more years in the Pacific Coast League and International League and then spent 1969 in Japan with the Taiyo Whales.
