Biographical Information[edit]
Spencer Adams had only 395 major league at bats but he was a busy guy, playing for four different teams in four seasons and appearing in the World Series with two of them (the Washington Senators and "Murderer's Row" New York Yankees. The Famous Mormons Baseball Site says he was one of the first Mormons in the majors. After his baseball days, he was a maintenance worker for the Utah State Highway Department. He died in Salt Lake City at 72 in 1970.
