Southern California Collegiate Baseball Association

From BR Bullpen

The Southern California Collegiate Association was established in 2006 by the owners of the cooperating teams for the development of college baseball prospects and to further promote baseball in Southern California. The SCCBA is one of many Summer Collegiate Baseball leagues throughout the country which adheres to strict player development standards. All Southern California Collegiate Baseball Association players are NCAA eligible and are unpaid in order to maintain their eligibility.

Each team is operated similar to a professional minor league team, providing players an opportunity to play under the same conditions using wooden bats, minor league specification baseballs and parks, experiencing overnight road trips and playing nightly before fans in a stadium.

The Palm Springs Power are the flagship franchise.
