Biographical Information

Sora Suzuki has pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Suzuki was drafted by the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 8th round of the 2018 NPB draft, and he spent his first three seasons primarily in the NPB Farm Leagues, only pitching 8 games with the big club combined. He joined the bullpen of Rakuten in 2022, and he had a 4.03 ERA in 38 appearances. Suzuki broke out in 2023, notching 22 holds with a 3.30 ERA in 61 games. He led the Pacific League in appearances, and he ranked 7th in holds (tied with Yuki Tsumori).

Suzuki's repertoire features a fastball that peaks at 96.3 mph, a sinker, curveball and a slider.
