Biographical Information[edit]
Snake Henry played 29 games in the majors over two years but is much more famous for a long minor-league career. He also managed in the minors.

In May, 1939, Henry was suspended for 120 days for assaulting an umpire in the Coastal Plain League.
He is one of three players (through 2008) with the first name "Snake". All three played between 1901 and 1923, with Henry the last of the three to play.
