Biographical Information[edit]

Skylar Meade has been a college coach.

Meade was 3-0 with a save and a 1.49 ERA as a high school freshman, then was ALl-State as a junior (6-0, 0.94; .332) and senior (.427, 13 SB; 9-1, 0.87). [1] He was 0-2 with a 9.47 ERA as a college freshman, 3-0 with a 4.23 ERA as a sophomore and 4-1, 5.54 as a junior before his season ended due to injury. He then missed 2006 after surgery. [2] In 2007, he had a 9-4, 4.24 record as Louisville went to the 2007 College World Series. [3]

He was assistant coach at Eastern Illinois University from 2008-2012, Middle Tennessee State University from 2013-2014, Michigan State University from 2015-2017 and the University of South Carolina from 2018-2021 before becoming head coach of Troy University. [4]
