Biographical Information[edit]
Skeeter Webb, a middle infielder, played twelve seasons in the big leagues. Although he made his major league debut at age 22 in 1932, he didn't get a major league at-bat until he was 28, and didn't have 400 at-bats in a season until he was 34.
Webb was married to Olive O'Neill, the daughter of Steve O'Neill, who was his manager with the Detroit Tigers.
