Shurendell Borgschot debuted in Hoofdklasse in 2007. The right fielder hit .286/.398/.443 with a league-leading five triples in 22 games; he only had one other extra-base hit, a double. He stole six bases in 9 tries for Sparta/Feyenoord.

In 2011, he went to play for The Hawks in the minor Overgangsklasse; that year, they finished 5th. In 2012 they won the championship by just 0.5 game (1 point) ahead of RCH.

In 2013. he will play with The Hawks in Hoofdklasse again. They earned a spot in Hoofdklasse by beating Sparta/Feyenoord in the promotion games series 3-2. In the promotion series, Shurendell hit .522/.542/.826 and led the series in almost every category.
