Biographical Information

Shota Kimura was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants out of high school in the 5th round of the 2004 NPB draft. After several seasons in the minors, he came up in 2009. As a rookie, he had a 3.38 ERA and no decisions in 25 appearances.

He has been timed as high as 92 mph.
