Sheridan
Sheridan
- Bats Unknown, Throws Unknown
Biographical Information[edit]
A player only identified in the boxscore as Sheridan played one game in left field for the Brooklyn Atlantics on October 9, 1875. He went 0 for 4 with a strikeout.
While there are a number of players for whom no first name is known, making identification very difficult, Sheridan is a particularly difficult case because there is absolutely no other clue available regarding his identity. It may be a possibility that he could have had some relation to Phillip Sheridan, a ballplayer in the 1850s, though any existing proof of it seems almost impossible to find.
