Sheffield Scientific School
The Sheffield Scientific School was established in 1847 in New Haven, CT as a preparatory school for Yale University which diverged from the traditional prep school model of the time by integrating scientific subjects to the usual curriculum of Greek, Latin and other aspects of a classical education. It became gradually integrated with the main university as an undergraduate school and disappeared in 1956. Mike Wilson went here.
