Biographical Information[edit]
Sergio Robles appeared in 16 major league games over three seasons, but is much more famous for his exploits in Mexico.
One source says he was called "Kaliman" in Mexico and "Bazuca" in the Caribbean.
According to an interview, he began to play professional baseball at age 20 with Nogales. He made his major league debut batting for Boog Powell. He played nineteen seasons for the Naranjeros de Hermosillo, and also was manager for two seasons and a coach for four with them. He also managed Juarez, Magdalena and Caborca and coached for Mexico City. He managed the Mexican national team in the 1995 Intercontinental Cup.
