Biographical Information[edit]
Sebastián Tesouro was a top Argentinian player who spent several years in Spain. Tesouro hit .316/.350/.316 for the Spanish national team in the 2003 European Championship. In the 2004 Division Honor season, Tesouro batted .271/.340/.376 for Barcelona.
He produced at a .233/.258/.367 clip in the 2005 European Championship with six runs in eight games. He had 11 putouts in the outfield and no errors. In the Bronze Medal Game, he was 1 for 4 with a double and a RBI in the 7-3 win over Germany. In the 2005 Baseball World Cup, Tesouro hit .368/.429/.579 as Spain's second-best hitter after Dewis Navarro. He scored half of Spain's six runs in their win over Colombia.
He was just 6 for 25 with two walks and a homer for the Marlins Puerto Cruz in 2006.
