Biographical Information[edit]
Sean Coyne played college ball at Westmont College from 2015-2019 where he pitched mostly in relief. He graduated with a degree in kinesiology.
Coyne began his coaching career soon after graduating. In the fall of 2019 he was a part-time pitching coach for Scripps Ranch High School. In 2020 he interned at Driveline Baseball, a premier training facility in the Seattle, WA area. Coyne returned to Westmont in 2021 as a part-time assistant pitching coach for the Warriors while also working as a groundskeeper.
These various coaching efforts led to a pitching coach position with the ACL Dodgers in 2022 and Rancho Cucamonga Quakes in 2023-2024.
