Biographical Information[edit]
Scott Franklin played pitcher, catcher, shortstop and first base during his Claxton Shield career. He hit .353 for the Australian national team in the 1985 Asian Championship and also was in the 1985 Intercontinental Cup. He played in the Australian Baseball League's debut year, 1989-1990, hitting .240/.312/.352 with 23 RBI in 39 games for the Parramatta Patriots. Only Jeff Kipila drove in more runs for the team.
