- Born June 13, 1962 in Tamworth, New South Wales Australia
Scott Cameron played for the Australian national team in the 1985 Intercontinental Cup and 1988 Olympics as a pitcher-outfielder. He was the first captain of the Perth Heat and started the first game in Australian Baseball League history when the league opened in 1989; he got the first strikeout as well. In the 1989-1990 ABL, he was 0-3 with a 10.80 ERA, allowing 33 hits in 16 2/3 IP. He was 2 for 14 as an outfielder but drew 9 walks, stole 5 bases and scored 10 runs.
