Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Scott Barber was taken in the sixth round of the 2000 amateur draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He peaked at Triple-A. He pitched from 2000 to 2004.

Perhaps his best season was 2003, when he went 11-7 with a 4.85 ERA in 28 games (25 starts) between the Lancaster JetHawks and Triple-A Tucson Sidewinders (his first taste of Triple-A). One of his two starts with Tucson was a complete game shutout. He briefly returned to Tucson in 2004.

Overall, he went 28-22 with a 5.25 ERA in 137 games (54 starts).
