Biographical Information[edit]
Satoshi Kikuchi played for Toshiba in Japan's industrial leagues. [1] He won Bronze with Japan in the 1987 Intercontinental Cup. [2] In the 1988 Baseball World Cup, he pitched for the Japanese national team, going 1-0 with 11 K in 8 1/3 IP but with a team-high 6.48 ERA; Hideo Nomo was next-highest at 4.24. [3] He was also with Japan for the 1988 Olympics, when they finished second; baseball was not yet a medal event. [4]
