Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Satoru Nakano played for the Hanshin Tigers of Nippon Professional Baseball from 1986 to 1993. Perhaps his best season was 1989, when he hit .268/.342/.474 with 11 home runs, 41 RBI and 9 stolen bases in 287 at-bats over 124 games. Overall, he batted .241/.320/.392 with 28 home runs, 102 RBI and 138 runs scored in 529 games over 8 seasons.

He played for Japan in the 1985 Asian Championship.
