When the Canadian Baseball League operated briefly in 2003, Saskatoon, SK had an entry called the Saskatoon Legends. They went 22-15, 2 games behind the Calgary Outlaws in the western division. Bienvenido Felix (6-2, 3.02) was 7th in ERA, one slot behind Ryan Koback (2-4, 2.98). Ben Van Iderstine (.401, .577 slugging, 32 RBI) finished two points shy of the batting title while teammate Carlos Uraviola (.375) was third in the race. Sean Murphy (.354, .567 slugging) was 8th in average and possibly second in the CBL with 6 home runs.
