Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Sanyalak Pitpatpinyo was with the Thai national team for the 2010 Intercontinental Cup. In his only game, he replaced Sudsawad Anukul in LF late in a loss to the Czech national team. He had one put-out and singled off Petr Minařík in his lone at-bat. He was with Thailand for the 2010 Asian Games and 2011 Southeast Asian Games, winning Bronze in the latter event. In the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, he got into two games but did not bat. He went 2 for 5 with a walk, two runs and a RBI as a regular for Thailand in the 2014 Asian Games. He hit .286/.286/.500 with 4 runs and 4 RBI in the 2018 East Asian Baseball Cup.

In the 2018 Asian Games, he was 3 for 8 with a walk, steal and two runs in the opening round, with all 3 hits coming in a win over Sri Lanka to advance to the main round. He remained sharp with a .375/.412/.563 line in the main round, with 3 doubles and 2 steals in 5 games. Playing left and third, he had 3 putouts, 3 assists and no errors. He tied Jung-hoo Lee and Wing-Sing Li for the most doubles in the Games. On Thailand, he was second to Joe Daru in slugging and hits and 3rd in OBP and average.
