Santiago Beltrán

Santiago “Yago” Beltrán was the starting shortstop and #3 hitter for the Mexican national team in the 1959 Pan American Games. The Chicago Tribune carried box scores for four of Mexico's five games; in those, he hit .400 with a .600 slugging, 3 runs and 2 RBI. He went 3-for-5 against Team USA. He also won Bronze with them in the 1962 Central American and Caribbean Games.
