Santa Bárbara del Zulia, Zulia

Santa Bárbara del Zulia is about 50 miles south of Maracaibo in Zulia state, in northern Venezuela, near Lake Maracaibo. It is the twin city of San Carlos del Zulia, Zulia, which is located across the Rio Escalante. It is the site of Liceo Francisco Javier Pulgar. Kendy Batista, Gerardo Parra and Henry Rodriguez were born here.
