Biographical Information[edit]
Sammy Morris was a full-blooded Nez Percé Native American, who played minor league ball along the coast of the western USA during the early 20th Century.
He earned $200 a month during the summer of 1903 pitching for the Portland Browns and played in St Louis in exhibition games in connection with the 1904 Olympics.
