Biographical Information[edit]
Simon "Sammy" Curran pitched one game in the majors, posting a 1.35 ERA in 6.2 innings.
Curran was at Tufts University between the years 1895-1902, and also played for teams in the Northeast during some of that time. He came to the majors with the 1902 Boston Beaneaters on August 1.
After his baseball career, he was a physician for 35 years and served in the Medical Corps during World War I.
