Salatielu Poti was on the American Samoa national team that won Silver in the 2003 South Pacific Games. He hit .286 with three runs and two RBI and also pitched six innings (9 H, 2 BB, 6 R, 5 ER, 8 K). He tied teammate Daniel Craycroft for 9th in the Games in strikeouts.
