Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher/outfielder played Sal Arduini played in the minor leagues from 1948 to 1952.
He spent 1948 in the field, hitting .263 in 548 at-bats for the Thomasville Tigers, before transitioning to pitching partway through the 1949 campaign. In 1950, he won 10 games and in 1951, he won 13 games for the Rome Colonels.
Overall, he hit .253 with 278 hits in 369 games. On the mound, he was 32-28 with a 4.05 ERA in 63 games (66 starts).
He served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946.
