Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise, Nord-Pas-de-Calais-Picardie
Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise is a small town in northern France, located 30 miles north of Amiens and 20 miles west of Lens. It is listed as Elmer Gedeon's place of death as his airplane was shot down in its vicinity during a combat mission in World War II.
