Biographical Information

Sailor Stroud is the only Major League Baseball player from Ironia, New Jersey through 2007.

His major league career was so-so, with an 18-20 win-loss and 2.94 ERA.

Finished his 1919 season with the Rupert, Idaho club, the champion of Idaho that year. Was 2-1 in 3 games with 35 strikeouts and just 9 hits allowed in 27 innings.
