Biographical Information[edit]
Ryuzaburo Tahara represented Japan in the 1997 Intercontinental Cup. He was 0 for 2 with two walks, a steal, a run and a RBI, while handling two assists as the backup SS to Tomohiro Nioka on the champs as Japan ended Cuba's 15-year-run of not losing a game (Tahara did not appear in that upset). He played for Panasonic in the Industrial League after college.
