Biographical Information

Ryosuke Nomura played for Mitsubishi in the industrial leagues after high school. He represented Japan in the 2014 U-21 Baseball World Cup, saving two games and posting a 4.50 ERA. He tied Yi-Hao Lin for the save lead. He was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the first round of the 2014 NPB draft. He pitched 3 games with a 10.13 ERA in 2015, and he never had another appearance for the big club until he announced his retirement in 2017.
