Biographical Information[edit]

Ryne Lawson pitched in the Boston Red Sox system from 2006 to 2010. He was the club's 30th round pick in the 2006 amateur draft, having been taken a couple of picks ahead of pitcher Hector Santiago. He was signed by scout Danny Watkins. Perhaps his best season was 2008, when he went 5-4 with a 3.59 ERA in 36 games (11 starts). The next campaign, he fell to 3-12, 5.93 in 23 starts.

Overall, he went 20-28 with a 4.74 ERA in 122 games (42 starts).
