Biographical information

Ryan Rutz was selected by Texas Rangers in 23rd Round (645th overall) of 1994 amateur draft out of the University of Washington. He played two years with the Rangers organization with the Hudson Valley Renegades in 1994 and the Charleston River Dogs in 1995. Ryan then spent four years, 1996-1999, with the hometown Tri-City Posse. He was selected as the league's All-Star shortstop in 1998. After he retired as player, he went to work for the Posse's front office and is now a loan officer with Aboretum Mortgage in Kennewick, WA.
