Biographical Information

After making his major league debut for the Texas Rangers late in the 2014 season, Ryan Rua was the team's opening day left-fielder on April 6, 2015. He led off the 8th inning of that game with a single off the Oakland Athletics' Sonny Gray, breaking up a bid for a no-hitter, but it was his team's only highlight as they lost, 8-0.
