Biographical Information

Ryan McLaughlin played middle infield for the New York University Violets, a division III school from 2016-2019 and earned a bachelor's degree in management. The Seattle Mariners signed McLaughlin as a free agent in early 2020, but he never appeared in a game for the organization since COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the minor league season.

McLaughlin stayed with the Mariners as he pivoted toward coaching. His LinkedIn page lists him as a development coach assigned to the Modesto Nuts in 2020, but this could not be confirmed by other sources. He was a coach for the Arkansas Travelers in 2021 and the hitting coach for the Everett AquaSox in 2022.
