Biographical Information[edit]

Starting pitcher Ryan Crowley played in the Los Angeles Angels minor league system from 2011 to 2014.

He was originally taken by the Chicago White Sox in the 36th round of the 2009 amateur draft, but opted not to sign. He did sign after being taken by the Angels in the 19th round of the 2011 amateur draft.

After going 1-2 with a 5.50 ERA and 3-14 with a 5.62 ERA his first two years, respectively, Crowley put it together in 2013, going 10-7 with a 3.28 ERA in 26 games (25 starts) for the Burlington Bees. He was a Midwest League Mid-Season All-Star and a MiLB.com Organization All-Star. Upon starting 2014 with a 0-6 record and a 6.07 ERA in 9 games (7 starts), however, the Angels released him.
