Ryan Cougill

Biographical Information[edit]

Ryan Cougill has been a college coach.

Cougill was All-Conference both years at Joliet College and then both years at Western Illinois. He was among WIU's single-season career leaders in hits and runs as well as among the career average leaders. He remained as assistant coach in 2005, was assistant at Joliet in 2006, Reed-Custer High School in 2007, New Mexico Junior College (2008) and Yavapai College (2009-2012). He was 353-188-1 as head coach of Yavapai from 2013-2022, with trips to the 2015 NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series and 2016 NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series. By the time he moved to Iowa Western Community College for 2023, three of his Yavapai players had made the majors.
