Biographical Information[edit]
Ryan Beaver was the starting pitcher for Long Beach, CA in the finale of the 1992 Little League World Series. He hit a record four batters and allowed 9 hits, 13 runs and two walks in 4 IP while striking out three players from Zamboanga, Philippines. He was 0 for 3 with a run while hitting second for Long Beach, one spot behind Sean Burroughs. Long Beach lost 15-4 but was given the title when it was discovered that Zamboanga had 8 players (including their top four hitters) from outside their district. The Los Angeles Dodgers took him in the 41st round of the 1997 amateur draft, one pick before Chris Spurling, but he never played professionally.
