Biographical Information[edit]
Rudy Kneisch was the star pitcher and captain for Mount Saint Joseph College in Baltimore, MD in 1918 before signing with the Orioles sometime between May 24th and August 5th that year.
He went 11-4 for the minor league Baltimore Orioles in 1920, a team which won 110 games.
He came to the Detroit Tigers in 1926 at the age of 27, and posted a decent ERA of 2.65 in his 2 games. The ERA was best on the Tigers squad, which posted a team ERA of 4.41. Ty Cobb was his manager.
He was in the minors till 1931, and went 6-20 with the 1922 Newark Bears, his worst year in the minors in terms of record.
