Rudolf Schweizer
Rudolf Schweizer played for the German national team that won Silver in the 1957 European Championship (their best finish through 2018) and Bronze in the 1958 European Championship (going 1 for 8 with 5 K, handling five putouts error-free). In the 1972 Amateur World Series, he returned to go 0 for 11 with ten whiffs, fielding .970 (presumably as a 1B, given his putouts relative to assists and games) and pitching one shutout inning (1 H), the team's lone pitcher with a 0 ERA (Claus Helmig was next-lowest at 5.82).
