Right-hander Ruben Fente was 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA for Spain in the 2007 European Under-21 Championship. He was 6-5 with a 2.96 ERA for El Llano in the 2009 Division Honor. He moved to CB Sant Boi in 2010. In the 2010 European Cup, Fente allowed two runs (one earned) in 7 1/3 innings in a win over France's Rouen Huskies. He was put on the Spanish national team roster for the 2010 European Championship.
