Biographical Information

Roy Vaughn pitched two games in July for the 1934 Philadelphia Athletics with an ERA of 2.08. He had the best ERA on a team whose ERA was 5.01. He was 22 at the time, four years younger than Jimmie Foxx.

He died at age 25, less than three years later.
